Good morning Jeanette,

15/4/2018

Django is feeling completely at home since the first day he arrived.
He did not appreciate very much the transport by car, he was very vocal and ended up spending most of the travel in Florence’s arms.
When he arrived at home, he was still vocal waking up Venus, our Persian cat. She came to see what was all the trouble and looked at Django in disbelieve and then looked at Christophe with a very accusing glance.
She always believes that everything happening is Christophe’s fault!
Since then she is cranky all the time and Django does not help to resolve the situation, he loves teasing her and tries to jump on her as soon as she does not pay attention.
The first few hours at home, Django dashed out of his box and went to visit all the rooms.
At first he was surprised that in each bedroom there was a cat like him, not realising that it was just the mirrors on the cupboards doors. He attacked all those cats very meticulously but gave up the next day deciding not to pay attention to them anymore.
For Django everything is source of curiosity and is a game. The fridge, the cupboards and the toilets are still a mystery because he has not yet found a way to go inside, but as soon as he hears someone opening one of them he rushes to see what is going on.
He is always with us, in the morning he stays with us in the bathroom, relaxing in one of the basin while we take a shower and in the kitchen, he sits on a chair observing everything.
When we are in the study he manages to help us to clear the desk by throwing all the pens and highlighters away before going to sleep on one of the most comfortable chairs.
In the evening, he comes to watch the TV with us and then when it is time to sleep he comes to bed between us.
Jeanette you have done an amazing job with Django, he is very sociable and has a fantastic personality.
Many thanks for this delightful cat.

Cheers,
Florence and Christophe

Jeanette, thank you.

he is an absolute delight. you can be ppoud of your work.

have you considered adding a comments page onto your website? that way perspective adopters could "research" your cattery. if you already have done so just ignore me.
also have you considered advertising on petlink. lots of breeders use the site and i found it helpful for up to date info.

enough from me.
thank you once again. i hope you will still be breeding when Yo Yo meets his maker (from old age of course).

cheers Pamela

Hi Jeanette and Chris

Just thought I would send you a few photos of Roundabout- if I can get
through the e-mail without his "help".

He is just the most beautiful animal and never fails to achieve the
appropriate oohs and ahhs when people see him.  Everyone in my family and
extended family love him, and as you can see from the photos his best friend
is the dog.  They make quite a pair.

The kids have called him Nulla.

He is inside most of the time (and definitely in the evening or when we are
not around) but loves gardening and hanging out the washing when he follows
me like a dog.  He lords it over the manor and we all bow and scrape to get
his approval, he is now draped around my neck and considering sabotaging the
keyboard.

Hope you are well, all the best,

Erica

Jeanette,

A few photos to keep you up to date on how Liffey is going.  She really is a joy, and always singing.  She's a little hedonist as well, very into her creature comforts.  And she leans most enthusiastically into any stroking.  The pair of them are now excessively good mates, but constantly on the go.  The stairs continue to get a really good workout, and inbetween whiles, they collapse in exhaustion.

Pat

Hi Jeanette and Chris,

I hope your both well? Sorry about not getting back to you sooner I was hoping to get some good pics of Pippa but the little minx doesn't like her photo being taken....She either gets too close to the camera or moves as you take it.  The first pic she's on her scratching post and the second is her kitty litter tray/fake plant she loves chewing on it.  I took both these photos the day I got her and was hoping to send you some better ones but she does all the cute things when the camera isn't around.  I will keep trying to get some better photos but in the mean time she is an absolute delight, playful, talkative and very affectionate.

Thanks again, take care
Zoe

Hi Jeanette,

Just thought I would give you a quick email to thank you and tell you that Sahri (yes we have named her now!) is abslutely gorgeous! She has the loudest purr I have ever heard on a kitten!!

When we got her home she settled in right away. She loved Mocha and went straight up to him and I think he likes her. He didnt even hiss- just sniffed her and then followed her around licking her!

Right now she is curled up on my lap purring :)

I will send photos in the next couple of days

Hi Jeanette,

Jupiter is an awesome little girl.  She walked straight into our house filled with confidence.  She follows our 3 year old around everywhere and lays beside our 8 month old happily getting her coat tugged on.  We went to the vet for her vaccination and she found her yoghurt treats and helped herself. The vet said she's more like a dog than a cat.  She's such a cool cat.  We love her.  Thanks again for some great breeding.

 Cheers

 Thanks.
 Ingrid

Jeanette,

Just a quick update on young Liffey.  She turned one on Saturday.  She is in the habit of greeting me when I get home, and at other times, by stretching out on the floor in front of me, so I’ll tickle her belly for her.

You won’t be surprised to hear that she is still gorgeous.  Her and her fluffy mate – who still take turns at chasing each other up and down the stairs- are still my absolute joy, and possibly the most spoilt cats I have ever encountered.  A few months back I got some shelves put on the wall for them, so they can get up on top of the high bookcase without risking life and limb.  Liff had managed it twice by herself, and Banj tried – unsuccessfully, she being a larger cat and not quite so agile as my Little Red Rat.  The shelves have made it much easier, and they now leap from floor to printer to top of desk to shelf to shelf to top of bookcase at speed.

Yesterday I got the back balcony off my bedroom meshed in by the nice folk from CatMax, and the kids are most enthusiastic about that.  The next learning experience for them is to work out how to use the pet door to get in and out.  Yesterday I chocked it open and they know about going through the hole in the screen door to and fro, they just have to work out how to push it open for themselves.  I don’t anticipate it taking them long to get that sorted. They really liked it.  They exchanged pleasantries with a passing mickey bird, were very interested in watching the local young stupid magpie walking along, and almost falling off, the fence, and Banj spent some time pursuing a passing ant.   Spoilt rotten, I tell you.
Pat
