Storm Update – Park and Overnight Accommodations Closed 

Effective Oct. 1, 2024: To help ensure the safety of visitors and staff, the park and any associated overnight accommodations are closed due to Hurricane Helene. The Florida State Parks reservation team will email guests with affected reservations to make alternate arrangements or issue refunds. The park and its overnight accommodations will reopen as soon as conditions allow. Please visit our Storm Updates page for more information.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

Effective April 1, 2024: The primary south entrance at Ichetucknee Springs State Park remains open to vehicles and visitors unless parking capacity has been met. The alternate South Takeout Gate is closed to vehicles through Oct. 1, 2024. For more gate information, see our park entrances.

Know Before You Go

Effective May 1, 2024: Due to capacity limits, when Ichetucknee Springs State Park reaches maximum capacity, it will close for a short time and reopen when sufficient space is available.

Hours

The park is open every day of the year from 8 a.m. until sundown.

South Take Out Gate

The south take-out gate is closed to vehicle traffic from April 1 to October 1. South take-out is accessible from the river for tubers/paddlers. You may also use the concession tram service or hiking trail to return to the south entrance parking lot.

River Closing Hours

River access points close at different times to ensure enough time for everyone to get off the river before sundown. 

  • The North Boat Launch closes at 3 PM EST. 
  • Midpoint Launch closes at 4 PM EST. 
  • Dampier’s Landing closes at 5 PM EST. 
  • Everyone must be off the river by 6 PM EST. 


Blue Hole Spring & Trail

Blue Hole Spring and Blue Hole Trail close one hour before park closing. 
 

Fees

Admission

All entrance is first-come, first-serve. Advance payment online does not guarantee entry or bypass the line at the ranger station.

  • $6 per vehicle (two to eight people).
  • $4 single-occupant vehicle.
  • $4 motorcycle (one or two people).
  • $2 pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers, passengers in vehicle with holder of Annual Individual Entrance Pass.

Tram/Shuttle

  • Our park concessionaire offers rentals for tubes, stand-up paddleboards, kayaks and canoes. 
  • Tram and shuttle service is offered by the concessionaire. Wrist bands are purchased at the concession facility adjacent to the parking lot at the park's south entrance.
  • Tube prices vary with style. See concessionaire website for exact prices
  • Visit Ichetucknee Springs for current hours and fees for rentals and transportation.
